Description:
Avando Systems won the contract to completely rebuild The Au Pair Company website and make vast improvements on the usablity and functionality of their previous system.

The project involved Avando systems building the following:

• Member Area functions - Member is able to store favourite members, and contact members via a private message board facility. Members are able to "FLAG" unsuitable messages to the administrator.
• Searching - detailed searches can be done by both Family or Au Pairs, based on the members profiles.
• Content Management System - Built Bespokely for the client allowing them to easily control all pages both public and within the member area.
• Member Checking - Administrator is able to check and approve members, and alterations to profiles (avoiding fraudulent membership applications from being displayed).
• Messaging Board - Administrator is able to oversee messages between members and respond to messages directly with members or as part of a discussion.
• Online Payments - Users on the site are able to pay for a premium service, giving them access to contact details; or use the site with limited functionality for free.
• Subscription Checking - The system flags members whose subscription is about to run out, and administrator is able to check subscription status of each member.
